There is some promoted content that I don't wish to be exposed to, I wish there was a way for us to select from a list of categories which promoted material we are likely to watch. If youtube is going to target me with unsolicited material, for you and your customers sake, enhance the chance of it being something I will click on.
Dead are the days of unsolicited advertising, sure it is effective but it's as beautiful and intelligent as carpet-bombing.
Way to hit the big problems... You can't go anywhere on this site without hearing complaints that 'spotlight' would sound better than 'featured'! Which btw, it doesn't.
Also love the line, "Our search advertising programme is about helping anyone promote their videos to a larger audience on YouTube (right now this is only available in the U.S.)."
Shame for those of us outside the U.S. who aren't anyone.

I come from a decent family home where that picture causes offence, and I have been getting into a lot of trouble just because I visit the Youtube website. I use this website for many useful purposes including viewing hundreds of political clips for my work. I am not a perv; I am a scholar and I am sick of being shouted at for something I didn't put on the screen.

Why dont you get rid of your view count freeze software. Just because I watch my own vids and reply to comments should'nt mean I should have my view count froze for a week

I agree, when I'm logged in it's fine and I don't get it. But if say I'm on my other laptop it ALWAYS comes up, and it is so annoying.

Change the comment layout back to the way it was, it was far better then.
