What idiot in YouTube invented annotations? Read the community posts - GET RID OF THEM!
I know of at least a dozen folk who are closing their YouTube accounts, there are far better hosts on the market - hosts that don't introduce unwanted and brainless add-ons like annotations.
Just tell me how to turn the damn things off - unchecking them on my main account does not work on my last video - won't even let me post to my blog, keeps saying that annotations are enabled.. I'm really sick of it. So - how do I make sure they don't appear on my videos, or the darn annotations editor?
Oh for crying out loud magpienoadoo. There's a button on the bottom-right of the video player. Click on it and then you should see a couple of buttons. The top one is the option to turn on and off annotations. Prob sorted!!
Is there any way we will know that an annotation has been added to one of our video's. I am relaxed about opening this feature to all viewers of my videos provided, as you say, that I can delete the comments but how do I know which video's have been annotated by others?
