I like the new Interactive YouTube homepage and think I'll probably stick with the "beta" as it does generally seem better. Few points Good, Bad, and changes/additions:
Good:
* Stats on the front page - nice to be able to get quick access to them and see at a glance.
* Recommended for You - nice addition and seems to work well, although it's listing a lot of my own videos, which surely I don't want to be recommended to myself to watch? Can't it just recommend new ones I've not seen?
* Latest from Your Subscriptions - being able to see more than 1 last video from subscribed channels on the front page is great (but, there's also bad points to this)
Bad:
* Latest from Your Subscriptions - this is showing channels that haven't had new videos for "ages". It doesn't show me the latest videos at all. What's more I've not got any way of seeing the "latest" videos from my subscriptions on the front page of YT now, and have to go to the Subscription Centre to get this.
* Featured Videos - they are now too low down, they're not really being "featured" at all this far down the page.
* Featured Videos - this seems to have lost the filter option of being able to see other types of popular videos which the old homepage had.
* Recommended for You - sometimes this doesn't show anything on the homepage. The module just doesn't display.
* "About your Videos > Video Responses" - this shows "0", but is that right? I have videos which have been responded to. I have videos that I've used to respond to others. Surely it shouldn't be "0"? The "Inbox" bit has Video Responses "0" which is correct as I don't have any waiting for approval, but the lower About Your Videos stat seems wrong.
* Friend Activity - doesn't explain what it actually is. The "customise this page" link at the top of the page gives some detail, but surely there needs to be a link (question mark, like in the My Account page) which gives a simple tooltip explanation of this new feature.
Like to see changed/added:
* Ability to personalise order that each item appears in each column, and maybe even which column the boxes appear. I'd like to have Latest Subscriptions, Friend Activity, above Recommended for You, for example. Others may want this in a different order, so surely let us chose? (you can select to switch modules on/off, but not to move)
* Link to my subscribed "groups" in the "About you" section and also a figure showing number of groups I'm a member of.
* Ability to have my "Favourites" as a module on the homepage, instead of having to specifically visit my channel page and then looking for the favourites on there.
Quite like this look, but think there is alot of room for improvement, the ability to move the items to where you want them would be good. The featured videos should be near the top. Maybe the option of the usual subscription bar and also the new user thing. I like the recommend videos but it keeps putting one of my own videos in there.
A little more customisations and this could work really well.
I haven't tested this, but here are some general changes I'd like to see..
- An ART video category! -An ART channel type -The ability to navigate to 'all subscriptions' from any page -The ability to group subscriptions, similar to the way you can group friends. (allowing for you to find all your comedy channels, art channels, vlogger channels etc).

I agree with y2kjonrichards' comment, it would be nice if you could customise your own home-page.
I don't like the "Latest From Your Subscriptions" section as it is showing videos from weeks ago, I much prefer the current version whereby it picks out the 4 latest videos from all your subscriptions.

No, please dont change it, i loved the old one, if anything u shud go back i liked the link on the homepage to go straight to my videos at the top etc.
I really don't like this layout, having to scroll downwards to find some of my subscriptions was quite pointless, considering those would be the videos I would watch first, and therfore should be at the top in the scroller. If the homepage is changed, I won't be very happy.
I am a big fan of the new homepage beta. it brings together a lot of cool preexisting aspects of YouTube. nice work. also, I agree with cheeckchen that there should be an ART category.
what if we could customize a list of quick-access links to the top 20 channels we like to visit the most? that might fit well on a personalized homepage.
After a day of using it, the "Recommended Videos" sections is getting silly. At the moment it is recommending my own videos. Don't get me wrong, they are good videos but I've already seen them :)
The most popular section seems to be a bit pointless, as the most popular videos are sometimes titilation videos. At the moment one of them is "Stacy's Pictures!". Does YT really want to promote such videos?

ITS BAD! i hate it i love the normal youtube homepage with a big featured videos list reccomened videos sucks it reccomends videos wot i made or random ones wot suck it has to much stuff it will stop the community featured of youtube!
Keep the featured videos the way they are, at the top with a nice big list.. Being featured is such a big goal for youtubers, and having 3 featured videos in a box at the bottom of the page reduces it's specialness. I would be really unhappy if this changed.

I think you should concentrate more on not condoning sexism on your front page and less on trying to 'snazzy-up' appearances. Also when a comment is responded to, you should email the actual response to the user, otherwise one often has to trawl through 1000's of comments in order to locate a follow-up, which is usually something like "shut up bitch".

Hi, i think that the new homepage is good, bit cluttered though. Love the fact that you can see all the video comments that you have made and received. Just think that it has to be neatened up a bit.

Please Please Please Please Please fix the subscriptions section so we can see our latest videos and not ones weeks/months old. If that gets sorted i might be able to just about bear the rest of the beta...
I miss very much -already from your last "obtain"-, the number of how many people were rating each video (before clicking onto it). It was the best indicator for me, in analogy with the number of views. Even more we can gain if we see "1st place" how many favorited a video. Just stars isn't enough indicator at all. p.s. Don't need anything "recommended" either :-)
Recommendations seem to be broken at the moment; the three that appear on /iyt are still videos that could plausibly have been selected on the basis of my favourites, but clicking through to http://uk.youtube.com/browse?r=1 just gives a regular site-wide 'most recent' page.
