Errrrr I don't get this.... People and Vbloggers (urbanblog, renetto, steveparkins0n etc) having been telling youtube for a LONG TIME what is going wrong and what needs to be done.... Don't the people at YouTube watch YouTube? Where are you guys hiding out.... listen to you content providers... because if you don't they will very quickly be the content providers for someone else that does listen... I would help on the panel if I thought i wasn't wasting my time....
Youtube needs to do something outstandingly positive and like LIGHTNING FAST... Instead of all the gatherings, how about an official conference.. open to all users (those that register that is..) How about being to flag malicious comments. How about being able to watch videos on your channel page without being whisked away into oblivion. How about being informed why an account has been suspended? How about a "stop" button if you just want to read comments but don't want the video downloading and taking your bandwidth. How about putting a vote question like the ratings. So if you are talking about a subject you can ask your community or sibscribers for there opinion and this can be instantly viewed like " Do you want my next video to be a comedy or an attack on the government..." etc.. How about allowing more text in a comment (more the 500), or a text count down so you know what you have left). How about the video coming in a pop up that always stays on the screen so that you can watch something while browsing the comments. If I'm watching one of renettos 30 minute videos i might still want to watch while scanning the comments... there are so many ways to improve YT... Just go and look and you will find.... people are getting a little tired of telling you... and they will talk with their feet... if you are not quicker to react....

How about a report malicious comment/user option? You seem to me more worried about spam than some 40 year old guy leaving filthy comments on a 15 year old girls profile.

Hey. I'm a great fan of YouTube and really love all the creativness of it all. The fact that you can post videos onto it and people on other parts of the world can see it is overwhelming. One thing, some of the language is a bit bad for some younger children. Sometimes if you accidently click the wrong video and you can get a mouthfull of bad stuff. Perhaps there could be a sign next to the video telling the watcher the recommended age of watching the video? This would possibly making viewing better.

How YouTube develops, not meaning to be rude but how about sorting out the channel descriptions so that they don't vanish when you change 1 word?!?
